A great project with a lot hard work already done. The current owner purchased this car around 2 years ago as a driver’s car that was running. He commenced a restoration however due to a change of direction is now thinning out his projects and this is one car that is now for sale.
AR298906, was manufactured in March 1967 and sold to Alec Mildren & Co. The engine AR0053611992 accompanies the car, and the body colour was originally Bluette with black vinyl interior.
The car was recently disassembled, and the body stripped to bare metal. It was found to be in remarkably good condition with only a few signs of previous rust repairs. New metal was applied to one of the front guards and other work completed. All the parts accompany the car including the seats which are in excellent condition. This represents a great basis for a restoration without the significant costs associated with major repairs to a shell. If you wish to restore a ‘Step Nose’ then this is the car for you!
