1969 Alfa Romeo 1750 GTV For Restoration

Sale Price: SOLD

Yes, they are still out there. Here we have a ‘barn find’ 1750 GTV. The current owner put this car away in a dry shed over 35 years ago and as a result it is in incredible original order. This represents a fantastic restoration project for the next owner.

The chassis number indicates this is a later Series 1 car and comes with the desirable ‘flying buttress’ seats. We are waiting on confirmation from Alfa Romeo but the presence of the leather interior indicates this car was delivered with the incredibly rare ‘Bertone De Lux’ body option.

  • Correct engine with original leads and Golden Lodge plugs still in place
  • Engine turns freely, oil is clear and level is correct
  • Brakes not seized
  • Wheel well is in excellent order
  • No indications of any previous repairs anywhere
  • Original leather interior is in remarkably good condition
  • Front lower wings rusted out (replacement panels available)
  • The drivers door and rear quarter have panel damage
  • Floorpans appear in fine order
  • Dash is in perfect order
  • Timber veneers are in perfect order
  • Original keys
  • 8 track player (with tapes)
  • Fitted with magnesium Minilites (including spare)

For anyone wishing to restore a desirable Alfa Romeo this represents a fantastic opportunity. Not only is this car largely original but it is in remarkably well-preserved condition. Further images and video is available to view for interested parties.
